Each project is custom-made and brings together design, production, logistics, and assembly in one process. Thanks to close collaboration between the various teams, the organization succeeds in delivering projects within tight deadlines and with a high level of finish.
What you will do. As Operations Manager Exhibition Stand Construction, you are responsible for the operational coordination of the organization. You ensure that projects are efficiently planned, executed, and followed up, without getting involved in the daily operational execution yourself. You form the link between project management, logistics, planning, production, and administration, ensuring that all involved parties have the right information at the right time.
Your responsibilities.
- You monitor the entire operational flow from project start-up to invoicing, adjust planning, capacity, and priorities where necessary, and ensure that projects are realized on time, with quality, and within budget.
- You coordinate the collaboration between project managers, logistics, workshop, and assembly teams, detect bottlenecks, and ensure a smooth and efficient execution of all projects.
- You establish clear processes, procedures, and reports, monitor administrative follow-up, and support the organization with KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You are a visible point of contact on the shop floor, know the status of ongoing projects, and combine a hands-on presence with sufficient overview to make the right operational decisions.
Profile
- You have at least five years of experience in an operational, project-based, or coordinating role and feel at home in an environment where quick action is required. You are used to acting quickly, setting priorities, and managing multiple files simultaneously without losing overview.
- You possess strong organizational skills and naturally bring structure to complex processes. You meticulously follow agreements, monitor deadlines, and dare to address colleagues or external partners when commitments are not met.
- You combine a hands-on mentality with a helicopter view. You understand what is operationally happening within projects and teams, but maintain sufficient distance to monitor processes, detect risks in time, and determine the right priorities.
- You are a strong communicator who collaborates smoothly with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience within a project-driven environment such as exhibition stand construction, events, interior projects, construction, or production is a major asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is an added value.
