Data Steward

You will join a program focused on developing a new application that allows employees to easily record data. The role of data steward is new within this program, and you will have the opportunity to help shape it.

What you will do.

  • Monitor the data quality of the application regarding:
  • Compliance with laws and regulations (specific data legislation);
  • Technical data quality;
  • The uniformity and standards of reference and master data.
  • Use dashboards and ad hoc queries for monitoring.
  • Improve data quality requirements.
  • Propose application improvements within the program.
  • Correct technical data across many registrations.
  • Collaborate with Functional Management to instruct users on the correct use of the application.
  • Collaborate with other Data Stewards within the organization.

Profile

  • HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level.
  • Minimum three years of experience in data governance or data management.
  • Knowledge of frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong analytical qualities and attention to detail and integrity.
  • Experience with SQL and dashboarding.
  • Preferably, knowledge of working in an Agile environment with development teams.
  • Preferably, knowledge of specific data processing legislation within government organizations.
