Supportive Residential Counselor
As an evening/night supervisor, you actively collaborate with clients to help them find balance in their living situation. You are a trusted point of contact for adults (18+) with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) residing in a protected living facility. During the evening and night, you contribute to a calm, safe, and predictable living environment, ensuring residents feel heard and can rely on appropriate support when needed.
You will work in a facility with 51 apartments, where sheltered living and day activities are combined, and where residents live as independently as possible with support tailored to their needs.
What you will do.
- Together with the night shift, you are responsible for the residential facility and ensure peace and safety within the building.
- You supervise during the night and intervene where necessary.
- If required, you will speak to residents, both internally and externally.
Profile
- You have an MBO level 3 diploma (vocational education), in the field of care.
- You have experience/affinity with mental healthcare (GGZ) and the autism target group appeals to you.
- You are responsible, flexible, enthusiastic, and decisive.
- You are social and approachable and can connect well with this target group.
