- Play a key role in the development and procurement of electromechanical solutions for the food processing industry, specifically for poultry processing.
- Responsible for the strategic procurement of drives, controls, vision, and data management.
- Develop category strategies, lead sourcing processes, and involve suppliers early in new product developments.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from Procurement, Engineering, Innovation, and New Product Industrialization.
- Connect technical innovation with commercial opportunities and build a reliable supply chain.
- Have a direct impact on quality, costs, technology, and future product developments.
What you will do.
- Develop and locally implement category strategies for drives, controls, vision, and data management.
- Lead strategic sourcing processes, focusing on quality, logistics, technology, costs, and sustainability.
- Involve suppliers early in specifications, designs, and the industrialization of innovation projects.
- Analyze cost models and price developments, and identify opportunities for integrated cost reduction.
- Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and initiate improvement measures.
- Align with stakeholders within Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement to achieve common results.

Profile
- HBO or university level of thinking and working with demonstrable understanding of electronics.
- Minimum six years of experience in strategic procurement.
- Experience with stakeholder management at various organizational levels.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good oral and written command of the English language.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of working time.
- Plus: Experience in engineering or innovation.
- Plus: Knowledge of Power BI and SAP ECC.
- Affinity with technology and the drive to connect procurement and innovation.
