What you will do. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant financial records across multiple European entities. You will play a key role in month-end closings, audit support, VAT compliance, and reporting. Working closely with both European and US finance teams, you contribute directly to financial integrity and operational excellence.
Your tasks.
- Coordinating and executing month-end closing processes
- Supporting audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Acting as a point of contact for external auditors
- Performing general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting accruals, provisions, and journal entries
- Reviewing P&L and financial data accuracy
- Supporting VAT compliance and reviewing VAT coding
- Assisting with cash flow and banking activities
- Supporting reporting and improving financial processes
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling or accounting
- Strong experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Exenta or Dynamics is a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
- Understanding of accounting processes (O2C, P2P)
- Experience in an international or multi-entity environment is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
