IT Linux Monitoring Administrator

- Together with your team, you will be responsible for managing and further developing our Linux-based monitoring environment.
- You will ensure that our systems are continuously transparent, secure, and reliable.

- Actively contribute to the development of the monitoring strategy.

- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure system performance, availability, and security.
What you will do.
- Manage and expand a Linux-based monitoring environment.
- Ensure systems are transparent, secure, and reliable.
- Work with various monitoring and analysis tools.
- Set up and automate monitoring processes.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and mentor junior colleagues.
- Life Cycle Management: perform technical adjustments, monitor the coherence between the data center environment and infrastructure.
- Incident, Change, and Problem Management: investigate and analyze problem areas, consult stakeholders, and implement solutions.
- Coordination and advice: contribute to audits, advise on system performance and usage, provide input for tender processes, and prepare reports.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably a completed ICT education.
- Experience with setting up and automating monitoring processes in a similar role.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to junior colleagues.
- Experience with monitoring/operational analytics products: Dynatrace, Elastic, Apache Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab) and automated environment deployment.
Practical
- A security screening is part of the selection procedure.
- A reference check and assessment may be part of the selection procedure.
- You must be from a country within the European Economic Area, or possess a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA).
- On-call duties or weekend work may occur.
