IT Linux Monitoring Administrator

• Together with your team, you will be responsible for managing and further developing our Linux-based monitoring environment.
• You will ensure that our systems are continuously transparent, secure, and reliable.
• You will play a crucial role in the transition to a modern, future-proof infrastructure.
• Actively contribute to the development of the monitoring strategy.
• Contribute to a future-proof and scalable IT environment.
• Work closely with other IT teams to ensure system performance, availability, and security.

What you will do.

• Manage and expand a Linux-based monitoring environment.
• Ensure systems are transparent, secure, and reliable.
• Work with various monitoring and analysis tools.
• Set up and automate monitoring processes.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and mentor junior colleagues.
• Life Cycle Management: perform technical adjustments, monitor the coherence between the data center environment and infrastructure.
• Incident, Change, and Problem Management: investigate and analyze problem areas, consult stakeholders, and implement solutions.
• Coordination and advice: contribute to audits, advise on system performance and usage, provide input for tender processes, and prepare reports.

What they ask

• HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably a completed ICT education.
• Experience with setting up and automating monitoring processes in a similar role.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior colleagues.
• Experience with monitoring/operational analytics products: Dynatrace, Elastic, Apache Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab) and automated environment deployment.
