This is a work-study program within disability care.
- You combine learning and working to develop yourself into a healthcare professional.
- Training courses are mainly provided at a specific location of the care organization.
What you will do.
- You guide clients in their daily lives and support their development.
- You provide guidance that matches the wishes and needs of the client.
- You will work with various target groups, such as EVB, MVB, and MVG.
- You will receive guidance from experienced colleagues.
- You will change workplaces at least once to gain broad practical experience.
- Depending on your training and workplace, you may also perform nursing technical actions, such as wound care, tube feeding, or injections.
What they ask
- You will be at least 18 years old on September 1, 2026.
- You have a suitable prior education, such as vmbo Kader, GL or TL, a transfer certificate from 3 to 4 havo, or an mbo2, mbo3, or mbo4 diploma.
- You can travel independently to the training location.
- You are flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- You want to develop yourself within disability care.
Practical
- A work-study agreement, with contract hours between 24 and 32 hours.
- All training costs are paid.
- You receive 4 hours of study leave per school day.
- Gross monthly salary (up to 21 years) between € 1,833 - € 2,524 (based on 36 hours, in accordance with the collective labor agreement for disability care trainees).
- Gross monthly salary (from 21 years) between € 2,137 - € 3,427 (based on 36 hours, in accordance with the collective labor agreement for disability care).
- Irregularity allowance, an 8.33% year-end bonus, and 8% holiday pay.
- Travel expense reimbursement and free parking within walking distance.
- Annual € 750 tax advantage for, among other things, the purchase of a phone, laptop, tablet, bicycle, or your sports club membership.
- The possibility to buy and sell extra leave hours with a tax advantage.
- The selection procedure includes a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) application, reference checks, and requesting information from the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate.
