You will join a progressive Smart Factory environment where data, AI, and industrial technology converge. You will collaborate with process engineers, quality experts, and IT specialists to transform complex production data into smart, practical, and measurable solutions. From machine learning and predictive maintenance to anomaly detection, process optimization, and GenAI/LLM use cases — you will have the opportunity to apply technology directly on the shop floor.
What you will do.
- Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of production data
- Work with data from process historians, MES systems, sensors, and IIoT platforms
- Develop robust data pipelines and analytical solutions with Python & SQL
- Perform statistical analyses and root cause analyses
- Develop, train, and validate ML models
- Work on use cases such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and process optimization
- Experiment with LLM/GenAI applications within an industrial environment
- Work with concepts such as prompt engineering, agents, MCP, and/or fine-tuning
- Monitor and improve existing models
- Contribute to innovative Industry 4.0 projects
- Translate production data into concrete business and operational value
- Collaborate with various disciplines within production, engineering, quality
- Document methodologies, models, and results within a GMP-controlled environment
- Communicate technical insights understandably to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with different teams and disciplines
- Support the implementation and adoption of new data-driven solutions
What they ask
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field
- Python – strong knowledge, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
- SQL – strong knowledge of relational databases and complex queries
- Machine Learning – practical experience with supervised, unsupervised, and/or time-series modeling
- LLM / GenAI – knowledge of modern LLM frameworks and practical applications
- IIoT Data Contextualization & Analytics – for example, experience with AVEVA PI Asset Framework and/or Seeq
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a similar role
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a strong plus: AVEVA / OSIsoft PI Asset Framework, Seeq Advanced Analytics, WERUM PAS-X / MES, DeltaV DCS, Pharma / Biotech / Chemical manufacturing, GMP-regulated environments, Cursor / Claude Code, Time-series analytics, Industrial IoT / process data
