You will work on challenging projects within wet infrastructure and industry. This includes bridges, locks, pumping stations, storm surge barriers, drinking water installations, and wastewater treatment plants. You will be involved in the complete engineering process: from the initial concept and preliminary design to detailed engineering, realization, and commissioning. You will ensure that designs comply with laws and regulations, client requirements, and the highest quality standards.
Together with project leaders, engineers, drafters, and operational colleagues, you will work on technical solutions that contribute to a safe and reliable infrastructure.
What you do
- Develop execution designs and create and check necessary technical calculations
- Support preliminary and detailed designs of electrical installations
- Test designs against applicable standards, regulations, and client specifications
- Compile material lists, reports, and technical documentation
- Perform initial inspections together with executors, technicians
- Support testing, commissioning, and technical issues during execution
- Timely identify additional and less work
- Monitor quality, progress, and budget within your activities
- Coordinate with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders on technical choices and project progress
For medior or senior engineers:
- Apply Systems Engineering within the design and verification process according to the V-model
- Work independently on complex projects
- Coordinate activities of colleagues and external parties where necessary
- Evaluate third-party engineering and perform technical reviews and cross-checks
What they ask
- An HBO diploma or HBO working and thinking level in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of standards and guidelines such as NEN 1010 and NEN 3140
- Experience within industrial installations, infrastructure, machine building, or similar environments
- A structured and quality-oriented way of working
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and a pleasant way of collaborating
- A good command of the Dutch language
Preferences.
- Experience with machine safety or drafting machine safety files is a plus. Opportunities for development in this area are offered.
