For a residential care facility, we are looking for two nurses with coordinating tasks for the PG (psychogeriatric) and Visual departments.
What you will do.
- Participate in care activities in the morning.
- Ensure that the care process for residents runs smoothly, with the aim of providing them with a pleasant and independent stay.
- Be a role model for the team and coach employees on the quality of their work.
- Coordinate work processes within the department to optimize care.
- Think proactively about improving policies within the facility.
- Be alert to changes in clients' health and adapt care accordingly.
- Be a recognizable face and point of contact for clients, relatives, and all involved disciplines.
- Involve family members and others in the lives of residents.
Profile
- BIG-registered mbo or hbo nurse.
- Enjoys working with the elderly.
- Strong coaching skills.
- Excellent empathy, able to set personal boundaries, and possesses a helicopter view.
- Positive attitude and thinks in possibilities.
- Good at building relationships with residents.
About the location. The residential care facility is a warm and friendly place on the outskirts of a village, where residents live comfortably and employees work with attention and commitment. The atmosphere is calm and personal. Well-being is central, considering what is important to residents, what they can still do, and what brings them joy and meaning. Care is provided to elderly people with dementia, a chronic physical care need, and residents with a visual impairment.
Independent living with home care is also possible, as well as apartments for couples. The PG department houses 34 people with dementia at various stages, with spacious apartments and three living rooms where daily activities are organized. There is a new challenge to contribute to the transition from closed to open PG.
