Project Leader Monument Sustainability

You are the connecting link between internal disciplines, technical partners, heritage institutions, and governments within an organization. You monitor the progress, finances, and quality of the task and ensure that the necessary subsidies are applied for and that sustainability measures can be implemented.

What you do

  • Leading the sustainability and restoration of a national monument
  • Coordinating the planning and execution of the sustainability project
  • Connecting internal and external stakeholders, including heritage institutions, technical partners
  • Drafting, assessing, and guiding sustainability plans
  • Organizing and applying for subsidies and financing schemes for monumental sustainability
  • Drawing up a management protocol for the future use of the monument
  • Monitoring the planning, finances, quality, and progress of the project
  • Coordinating with disciplines such as building management, sustainability, finance
  • Identifying additional improvement measures for the future use of the monument
  • Ensuring a feasible and transferable project organization

Profile

You are an experienced project leader with extensive knowledge of monumental real estate, restoration, and sustainability. You have a strong architectural background, know how to connect different interests, and have experience with subsidy and financing processes within heritage projects. You combine substantive knowledge with administrative sensitivity and are able to independently manage complex projects.

What they ask

  • Completed HBO bachelor's degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Heritage, or Monument Conservation
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a project leader within architectural, real estate, or restoration projects
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with the sustainability and maintenance of monumental real estate
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ESCo
  • At least two demonstrable reference projects focused on the restoration, sustainability, or preservation of a national monument
  • Demonstrable experience with preparing, guiding, or applying for at least two subsidy or financing processes within monument conservation, heritage

Desired.

  • Demonstrable experience with subsidy and financing processes for monumental or sustainable real estate projects
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a project leader within architectural, real estate, or restoration projects within a government organization
  • Demonstrable knowledge of or work experience with cultural-historical heritage
  • Experience with drafting and assessing financial estimates
