Project Leader Asylum Reception

• Responsible for organizing executive activities within municipal processes and in collaboration with internal and external parties
• Focus on the realization of asylum reception and existing temporary housing locations for the municipalities
• Contribute to the establishment of a consultation structure at the implementation level for asylum reception, fitting within the program's structure
• Provide input from project groups for vision development at the strategic table
• Draw up a project plan for reception locations and monitor progress
• Ensure the implementation of the plan and collaboration with various involved parties, both internal and external, on social and physical aspects
• Coordinate the project on municipal processes in the realization phase up to the implementation of various reception locations
• Prepare, together with internal and external parties, the realization of locations for the municipalities, manage the process, monitor progress, and report back to the responsible strategist
• Organize meetings with various colleagues for the different tasks and ensure all participants are involved in the process and tasks are assigned
• Coordinate with a national reception organization on the planning and process of realizing reception locations
• Draw up an action plan for the realization of reception in the context of the Distribution Act
• Organize a sounding board group and maintain close contact with residents

• Participation in existing meetings
• First point of contact for external parties and advising them, in coordination with the strategic policy advisor and the project initiator
• Close collaboration with the strategic policy advisor for asylum & migration and other colleagues from the program team
• Close collaboration with colleagues from area management and communication, as well as with external partners, such as a national reception organization or social welfare services
• Organize meetings with various colleagues for the different tasks and ensure all participants are involved in the process and tasks are assigned

• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) or equivalent
• Experience in project management
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project leader/advisor within a government institution
• Experience within the physical and social domain

• Knowledge of legislation regarding migration & asylum
• Knowledge of permit issuance
