As a rehabilitation geriatrician, you will work at the intersection of hospital care, rehabilitation, and elderly care. You will work in a dynamic environment where hospital-displaced care is central and multidisciplinary collaboration is self-evident. In a small and dedicated team, you will contribute to the recovery, independence, and quality of life of elderly people temporarily undergoing rehabilitation.
What you will do.
- Provide hospital-displaced care to elderly people requiring temporary intensive rehabilitation and treatment.
- Collaborate closely with medical specialists and a multidisciplinary team (nurses, therapists, physician assistants, specialized nurses).
- Continuously assess what is needed to help clients return home as independently as possible.
- Contribute to discussions about developments in rehabilitation care and elderly care.
- Participate in the development of new forms of hospital-displaced care and treatment with regional partners.
- Work towards a future-proof way of working where quality of care and job satisfaction are central.
- Participate in a university network for elderly care and collaborate on the scientific substantiation of the profession.
Profile
- Completed academic degree in medicine, supplemented with the specialization in geriatric medicine.
- Decisive, analytical, and capable of coaching communication.
