Environmental Permit Case Manager
You will work in an environment with significant housing development ambitions, an extensive rural area, business parks, and a historic core. You will independently handle challenging and diverse permit applications under the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet), such as the renovation of historical heritage, the construction of a new home or housing project, or a deviation from the Environmental Plan. Together with fellow case managers, you will ensure the swift and careful processing of such permit applications.
You will gather the correct information, prepare well-substantiated advice, and monitor deadlines. You will work in a service-oriented manner for residents and entrepreneurs and maintain short lines of communication with the Province, Environmental Service, and Safety Region. Within the organization, you will easily liaise with ecologists, urban planners, constructors, and legal experts. You will have frequent contact with initiators and critically contribute to finding feasible and appropriate solutions.

What they ask
- Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet) and administrative law
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience as an environmental permit case manager
- Demonstrable work experience in preparing the necessary documents and argumentation regarding permit issuance and exemptions
- A motivation letter, prepared by the candidate themselves

- Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level in the field of Civil Engineering/Architecture
- Minimum 4 years of demonstrable work experience as an environmental permit case manager
- Completed ABW 1 and/or ABW 2
- Demonstrable work experience with the Powerbrowser program
- Demonstrable work experience with environmental permit applications for monuments and knowledge of BBL
- Completed course / training in the field of the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet) and the Quality Assurance Act for Construction
