Within an industrial project environment, you will work as a Technical Site Supervisor for Electricity. You will closely monitor electrical work on one or more sites, both for new constructions and modifications to existing installations. You are not the executing electrician yourself, but you use your technical knowledge and practical experience to check, assess, and adjust the work of contractors.
You will work closely with the site coordinator and project engineer and will be an important technical point of contact on site for the electrical aspect.
What you will do.
- You will monitor electrical work on industrial sites and ensure quality, safety, planning, and correct execution.
- You will check whether contractors work according to plans, electrical diagrams, specifications, standards, and procedures.
- You will detect technical errors or deviations, make adjustments, and work with the project engineer to develop possible solutions or modifications.
- You will follow up on inspections, measurement reports, additional work, and action points towards commissioning and delivery.
- You will participate in site and follow-up meetings and be the technical point of contact for the electrical aspect.
- You will work independently, report to the site coordinator and project engineer, and take on a supportive coordinating role where necessary.
Profile
- You have a bachelor's or graduate degree in Electricity and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- You have strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical installations, cabling, and distribution boards and can easily interpret electrical diagrams and specifications.
- You have experience with site supervision and controlling electrical contractors.
- You are familiar with the AREI (General Regulations for Electrical Installations) and know what to look for in safe and qualitative execution.
- Knowledge of high voltage, fire detection, SAP, and/or BIM is a plus.
- You work independently, take initiative, and communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
