For a renowned Belgian organization, we are looking for an experienced Payroll & GL Accountant to temporarily strengthen the Finance team. This assignment is ideal for an independent accountant looking for a part-time assignment and wanting to make a quick impact within a complex financial environment.
What you do
- Control and process payroll entries in SAP
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze differences
- Monitor payroll provisions (holiday pay, year-end bonus, insurance...)
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and Audit stakeholders
What they ask
- At least 5 years of experience in Payroll Accounting, GL Accounting, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI and Excel
- Experience with payroll-related reconciliations and closings
- Knowledge of BE GAAP and/or IFRS
- Experience with Cadency is a plus
Languages.
- Native level Dutch is an absolute must
- French and English are a strong asset
