A government organization is tasked with realizing a comprehensive Environmental Plan by 2032. For this, a process manager is sought to lead this process. The development and modification of the environmental plan affect many different subjects and people within the organization. It requires a new, more intensive collaboration throughout the organization at legal, technical, and content levels.
Coordination is essential to properly align all components of the environmental plan, ensuring it is legally sound, clear to initiators, and workable within the digital system.
What you will do.
- At a tactical and operational level, ensure that content, process, planning, and technology align well.
- Early identification of where choices or alignment are needed and bringing these to attention.
- Connecting processes, people, and choices within the entire organization, going beyond merely adjusting legal texts.
- Contributing to a learning approach that allows for experimentation and adjustment.
- Collaborating with legal experts, urban planners, geo- and environmental specialists, and other stakeholders within the organization for integral alignment.

- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 7 years as a process manager/lead.
- Agreement with the stated secondment conditions.

- Issuance of a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
Preferences.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a process manager/lead and/or as a policy officer or advisor (within the spatial domain) within a municipal institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of environmental law, with a specific focus on the Environmental Act (programs and Environmental Plan), explicitly stating where this knowledge was gained and applied.
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience with assignment products such as the Environmental Plan and directorial capacity.
