As an external accountant, you will have a varied set of tasks and manage files from A to Z. You will work independently, but can always count on the support of experienced colleagues within an accounting firm.
What you do
- Process accounting documents and transactions
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Prepare year-end closings and annual accounts
- Prepare interim figures, balance sheets
- Prepare tax returns
- Advise and guide clients via phone, email, online meetings, or in-office discussions
- Support and guide junior colleagues where necessary
- Actively participate in internal optimizations and new legislation
What they ask
- Several years of experience in accountancy or taxation
- Ready to independently manage files
- Candidates following or wishing to start their ITAA traineeship are also eligible
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accountancy-Taxation, or equivalent through relevant experience
- Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience within an accounting or bookkeeping firm
- Good knowledge of accounting and tax processes
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch, minimizing spelling errors
- Knowledge of Exact Online is a plus, experience with other accounting software is also valuable
- Works accurately, responsibly
- A true team player who values respectful collaboration
