HSE Supervisor

As an HSE Supervisor, you are responsible for daily safety monitoring on site and support the project and construction team in all HSEE-related activities. You are visibly present on site and play an active role in creating and maintaining a strong safety culture. Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing and monitoring the SHE plan within your assigned project environment.
• Daily safety monitoring on site and actively intervening in unsafe situations.
• Performing safety inspections, observation rounds, and audits.
• Assessing method statements, risk analyses (RAMS), and safe execution plans.
• Supporting contractors in complying with project procedures, safety rules, and legal obligations.
• Collaborating with project management, construction, and safety teams to resolve HSE deviations in a timely manner.
• Advising on site layout, accessibility, transport flows, lifting activities, and logistical challenges.
• Monitoring environmental and safety conditions and reporting to the SHE Manager.
• Supporting internal and external SHE audits.

We are looking for an experienced safety professional with a strong background in industrial construction projects, petrochemicals, or heavy industry. You possess:

• At least 10 years of experience in SHE/HSE supervision on large construction or industrial projects.
• Experience within petrochemicals, chemistry, energy, oil & gas, or similar process industries.
• Strong knowledge of safety legislation, risk analyses, and contractor management.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
