For a family investment company with private equity and real estate activities, a CFO is sought who is fiscally and financially strong, with an eye for asset and deal structuring.
What you do
- Develop financial policy and strategy, with multi-year plans and scenario analyses
- Advise on asset allocation and risk appetite
- Monitor investment portfolios, participations, and real estate, together with external asset managers
- Be responsible for financial administration, consolidation, and reporting to the family
- Optimize the tax position of the family and underlying companies
- Oversee estate and succession planning
- Treasury and cash management: liquidity, cash flow planning, financing structures, and banking relationships
- Ensure governance and compliance
- Support family governance (family council, family charter, statutes)
- Assist managers of investment and real estate companies in structuring deals and taxation
- Be the first point of contact for accountants, banks, asset managers
- Be the trusted advisor to the family on financial matters
Profile
- University degree
- At least 7 years of experience in finance, preferably in a family office, holding, asset management, Big 4, or fiduciary environment
- Strong tax knowledge
- Integrity and discretion
- An analytical and strategic view
- Understanding of family dynamics
- Entrepreneurial and independent, with direct reporting to the Chairman
- Experience in an M&A tax-related role, within a consultancy firm or a holding structure, is a plus.
