Project Manager

• Initiating projects according to plan and supporting project engineers in applying standard principles.
• Managing own engineering projects.
• Designing pharmaceutical certified (GxP) automation systems, including PLC/HMI controls, server software for machine connections, and data integration with historians.
• Representing engineering projects and managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Supporting knowledge management of personnel working on projects, including gap analyses and training of juniors.
• Addressing complex technical challenges that pose a risk to departmental priorities.
• Providing support to the management of the department's project portfolio (resources and planning).
• Prioritizing safety and quality in every decision and action.
• Valuing clear and effective communication, especially when explaining complex engineering concepts.
• Approaching challenges with a mindset of efficiency and effectiveness, using the right tools and techniques.
• Maintaining transparency and accountability by sharing project status in ways appropriate for different audiences.

What they ask

• Master in Engineering / Engineering Sciences (or equivalent by experience).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 5 years in a Project Manager or People Leader role.
• Demonstrable background within the Pharma/GMP environment.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch.
• Good knowledge of English.
