What you do
- Assist residents with important life moments, such as birth, marriage, emigration, and permit applications.
- Provide support to residents at the counter, by phone, and digitally.
- Assess applications and documents.
- Analyze, investigate, and make decisions on cases.
- Provide clear information on laws and regulations.
- Handle issues within civil status, naturalizations, permits, marriages, or foreign settlements.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues within and outside the team for optimal resident support.
- Evaluate source documents, including those from abroad, and decide on the possibility of applications.
What they ask
- Completed MBO education in legal services or relevant work experience.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Good analytical and research skills.
- Communicative, accurate, and focused on collaboration.
- Able to friendly and clearly explain to residents why something is or is not possible, while remaining firm.
- Handle confidential information carefully and empathize well with various resident situations.
- Experience in Civil Affairs is a plus; otherwise, development opportunities are offered through training, courses, and guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Enthusiasm to continuously learn and deepen knowledge in the field.
