Healthcare Real Estate Project Manager

A healthcare organization faces a significant real estate challenge and is looking for a project manager to realize real estate that makes a visible difference in the daily lives of clients and colleagues. This is a role with social impact, combining project-based work with architectural, financial, and user requirements within the healthcare practice.
What you will do.
- Lead new construction, renovation, refurbishment, and redevelopment projects.
- Translate housing issues into feasible project proposals and plans.
- Prepare and monitor schedules, budgets, and investment proposals.
- Manage architects, contractors, consultants, and other external partners.
- Coordinate all involved stakeholders, including care locations, users, and management.
- Monitor risks, quality, progress, and project results.
- Advise on sustainability, future-proof housing, and real estate developments.
What they ask
- Completed HBO or university education, for example in civil engineering, real estate studies, or a comparable field.
- Experience in leading real estate, construction, or housing projects.
- Knowledge of project management and project control.
- Experience with tenders and managing external parties.
- Financial insight and experience with budget responsibility.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within construction and real estate.

- Easily switches between strategy and execution.
- Strong communication skills and knows how to engage people.
- Works structured and maintains an overview, even when dynamics are high.
- Organizationally sensitive and can handle different interests well.
- Experienced project leader who maintains an overview, sees opportunities, and knows how to connect people.
- Understands that real estate within a healthcare organization requires more than just technical knowledge.
- Has an eye for users, social impact, and organizational interests.
Practical
- One-year contract with the intention to convert it to an indefinite period.
- Salary according to FWG 60 (€4,262 - € 5,926) of the Collective Labor Agreement for Disabled Care.
- 8% holiday allowance and an 8.33% year-end bonus.
