What you will do. You will provide care and guidance to aging residents. Many clients are wheelchair-bound, for whom you will offer support in Activities of Daily Living (ADL). This includes helping with washing, showering, dressing, changing, and preparing meals, using a hoist system. You are the person who ensures that the client starts their day well and/or ends it pleasantly in the evening. As a care assistant plus, you assist and support the execution of daily care/guidance for clients.
- Working with a unique target group: blind and visually impaired clients with reduced mobility and other physical limitations.
- Executing daily care and guidance for clients, including washing, showering, dressing, and mealtimes.
- Administering medication and supporting care actions.
- Performing household tasks within the living group, such as doing laundry or changing beds.
- Observing residents, identifying bottlenecks, and reporting on them.
