Are you an analytical IT professional with a passion for application management, data, and process optimization? As an Application Manager, you ensure that business-critical applications function optimally and are utilized to their maximum potential. You form the bridge between software vendors, the helpdesk, and internal users, playing an important role in improving systems and processes.
What you will do.
- Manage and optimize business applications from a helicopter view.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to make data more accessible and usable.
- Develop and improve reports and dashboards for various departments.
- Act as a point of contact for users, the helpdesk, and software vendors.
- Analyze incidents and structural bottlenecks and develop sustainable solutions.
- Maintain and support integrations via APIs, WebServices, and sFTP connections.
- Translate user needs into concrete improvements and optimizations.
- Actively participate in implementation and optimization projects.
- Coordinate test plans, acceptance tests, and software releases in collaboration with key users.
What they ask
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Experience with data modeling, SQL, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of APIs, WebServices, sFTP processes, and scripting.
- Experience in setting up and executing test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with an eye for continuous improvement.
- Strong in stakeholder management and communication, allowing you to easily switch between business and IT.
- You work efficiently both independently and in a team.
