As a project leader, you will be part of the Finance and Procurement team of a public sector organization. This organization is currently preparing a European public tender for a financial SaaS solution. You will lead this process from a financial perspective, where organizational change, the implementation of new processes, adoption, and new working methods are the main challenges. The primary goal is a successful adoption of the system.
What you do
- You will draw up a plan of approach describing the task, implementation, and involvement of parties.
- You will guide the renewal of financial work processes and clarify what managers and employees need for system adoption.
- You will lead the execution of the plan and collaborate with involved parties.
- You will ensure good communication between the steering committee, project group, and involved teams.
- You will work with the information team on architectural alignment.
- You will manage the change initiative and the adoption of the system within the organization.
Profile
This project leader works intensively with the information team and the project leader who shapes the process there. As part of the financial team, you represent the financial function within the organization. After the award, you will act as a project leader, working intensively with all involved parties, ensuring good communication between the steering committee, project group, and the involved teams.
You will manage the supplier, collaborate with the information team on the architecture, and ensure the execution of the change initiative and adoption within the organization.
What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 10 years as a project leader for implementation projects.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with financial processes within a public sector organization.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience with municipal financial processes and BBV regulations.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a project leader for the implementation of financial software or ERP systems within a municipality.
- Demonstrable work experience with change initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience within a municipal public sector organization.
