You will work within an organization focused on civil engineering structures.
- The role involves designing plans and 3D models according to BIM principles.
- You will support Design Engineers in various project phases, from feasibility study to detailed design and as-built.
What you do
- Design plans and 3D models within BIM principles.
- Support Design Engineers in the study and design of civil engineering structures.
- Prepare plans and 3D models for structures, reinforcements, hydraulics, geotechnics, and piece plans for tenders of civil engineering works (bridges, viaducts, railway underpasses, support structures, tunnels, and technical buildings).
- Be responsible for the integration of your designs into the environment and with other disciplines (tracks, overhead lines, and signaling).
- Analyze and seek solutions for problems during plan design.
- Check plans from third parties (3D models, formwork and reinforcement plans, workshop plans, etc.).
- Prepare quantities for measurement statements that are part of the specifications for tenders.
- Utilize AI support in drawing and design work for quality and standardization.
What they ask
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a CAD Designer / civil engineering draftsman.
- Experience in creating 2D plans and 3D models of concrete and steel structures and reinforcements.
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD) and 3D/BIM modeling tools (e.g., Tekla Structures, Revit).
- Knowledge of bridges, viaducts, tunnels, support structures is a plus.
- Experience in preparing measurement statements and quantities.
- Work structured within a BIM environment and according to applicable standards.
- Bilingual Dutch / French.
- Affinity with railway infrastructure (integration with tracks, overhead lines, signaling).

- Academic Bachelor: Construction and Wood, or Professional Bachelor: Construction and Wood, or equivalent by experience.
