For an organization active in the food industry, a Logistics Manager is sought.
What you do
- Manage three teams, totaling approximately 70 employees, including 10 direct reports.
- Monitor and achieve KPIs related to costs, quality, safety, and environment.
- Support and coach the three team leaders in terms of leadership and organization.
- Responsible for the logistical flows of external warehouses and the transport team.
- Ensure timely and quality transports.
- Actively contribute to OTIF analyses, improvement projects, and complaint handling.
- Initiate and lead investment projects and optimizations within the warehouse and distribution center, together with the manager.
- Responsible for personnel planning of the distribution center and internal logistics.
- Optimize system and work processes within SAP, WMS, and other tools.
- Report to the Supply Chain Manager.
What they ask
- You have a higher degree in supply chain & logistics or a similar field.
- You have experience within a logistics context and possess a hands-on mentality.
- You are a good people manager and are proactive.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and French, preferably also in English.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
