Profile
You support the government organization in the development, assessment, and realization of infrastructural measures stemming from housing development projects. You act as a link between traffic engineering analyses, spatial developments, administrators, residents, and the technical elaboration of infrastructural projects.
What they ask
- Demonstrable completed traffic engineering, mobility, and/or comparable education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrable work experience in the role of traffic engineering advisor and/or a directly comparable position.
- Demonstrable work experience with traffic engineering guidance of housing developments, where not only the internal neighborhood access, but also the impact on the existing municipal and provincial road network is integrally considered and translated into realizable infrastructural measures.
- Extensive experience in collaborating with provincial road authorities in the preparation and realization of infrastructural projects.
- Collaborate with civil engineering designers and engineering firms.
- Design-oriented work, such as translating traffic engineering knowledge into feasible designs and knowledge of relevant CROW guidelines.
- Extensive experience with participation and environmental processes around infrastructural projects, where diverse interests must be weighed and support created for traffic engineering and infrastructural solutions.
- Work experience with housing development that had consequences for a provincial road, where traffic engineering measures were elaborated and/or assessed.
- Work experience with traffic engineering advice and coordination between government organizations, the province, and project developers and/or housing corporations.
- Work experience in at least 2 projects with housing and/or area development.
- Knowledge of area access roads, property access roads, and/or sustainable mobility.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience within a specific province.
- Demonstrable knowledge of provincial infrastructure and collaboration with provincial road authorities.
- Demonstrable work experience with housing developments of at least 250 homes.
- Demonstrable work experience with participation processes in a political-administrative environment.
- Demonstrable work experience in the role of traffic engineering advisor and/or a directly comparable position.
