Residential Supervisor

As a residential supervisor, you provide care and guidance to people with acquired brain injury (ABI). You support residents without taking everything out of their hands, and together you discover what someone wants and can manage themselves.

What you do

  • Provide care and guidance to people with ABI.
  • Support residents in discovering their capabilities.
  • Be part of small, multidisciplinary teams (partnerships) around a resident, collaborating with a care manager and a colleague from the support service.
  • Offer personal attention and 1-on-1 guidance in small-scale residential locations.
  • Handle planned care, guidance requests, and ad-hoc situations.
  • Conduct care rounds with a colleague.
  • Individually guide residents and be present during communal moments.
  • Assist with medication, ADL tasks, and household chores.
  • Provide more intensive care for some residents.

Profile

  • Possess an MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in Care and Welfare (e.g., MMZ, SPW, or VIG).
  • Be willing to work early, late, and weekend shifts, including approximately 3 night shifts per month.
