Judicial nurse

As a nurse, you will have a lot of freedom and responsibilities within a government organization. You will work with an interesting target group in a judicial institution.
What you will do.
- Conduct independent consultations and manage your own schedule.
- Plan your activities.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team of nurses, medical practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, department heads, and case managers.
- Participate in PMO regarding detainees.
- Receive modular education for healthcare professionals to develop your skills.
- Provide triage and primary care.
- Handle complaints, from headaches to wound care.
- Assess when referral to a general practitioner is necessary.
- Conduct medical intakes for new detainees to determine their physical and mental condition.
- Respond to acute crisis situations with a colleague.
What they ask
- MBO or HBO nursing diploma.
- BIG registration.
- Relevant work experience in somatic, psychiatric, and/or addiction care.
- Experience with providing first aid.
- Willingness to follow modular education for healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to work irregular 8-hour shifts.
