As a Business Controller at a government institution, you will shape a robust planning and control function within the Shared Service Centre. This role has a visible impact on policy and implementation. You will guide the planning and control cycle, analyze processes, finances, and production, and translate these into clear advice for management. You will work intensively with colleagues from Control & Advice, HR, and the business.

- You will identify risks, think ahead, and dare to initiate discussions.
- You will be a strong sparring partner for department heads and smoothly switch between policy and implementation.
- You will actively contribute to the team's development and the quality of financial steering within the Shared Service Centre.
- You will manage the planning and control cycle and translate financial insights into clear, actionable advice for the management.
- You will interact smoothly with the board, MT members, and other stakeholders, collaborating closely with colleagues within and outside the control team.
- You will actively contribute to a strong and professional Control & Advice team and help strengthen financial steering within the organization.

- You provide substantiated advice, solicited or unsolicited, in situations with diverse interests.
- You effectively interact with the board and MT members and involve your colleagues.
- You can quickly find your way within a complex organization and feel comfortable in an environment where collaboration, initiative, and mutual trust are central.

- Demonstrable university (WO) level of work and thinking.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Controller, part of which in a government organization.
- Knowledge and experience of agencies is a plus.
- Experience with process design, optimization, and funding issues.
