You will work as a project controller on a green campus and contribute to important societal themes.
- You will strengthen the Finance & Control (F&C) team of a research institution, consisting of approximately 40 FTE.
- The F&C department offers a pleasant, driven, and open working atmosphere, and includes teams for Financial Administration, Business Control, and Chair Administrators.
- You will collaborate closely with colleagues on various project control topics and monitor processes to minimize risks.
What you do
- Responsible for the financial management of various projects.
- Involved in all phases of the project cycle, from acquisition to financial completion.
- Financial point of contact for project leaders, providing both solicited and unsolicited advice.
- Responsible for determining project results for monthly and annual figures, for internal monitoring and external reporting (i.e., annual accounts).
- Contributes to identifying and monitoring project risks.
- Contributes to the implementation of internal control measures.
- Works independently with a high degree of responsibility and collaborates intensively with direct F&C colleagues.
- Gets the opportunity to develop skills and make a valuable contribution to the most important societal themes of today.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in business economics, business administration, accountancy, or a comparable field.
- Demonstrable affinity with finance and a good understanding of basic administration.
- Analytical skills, working meticulously and structured.
- Good communication skills, easily bridging the gap between project leaders and F&C.
- Willingness to work both independently and in a team.
- English language level B2.
