An organization is looking for a Cloud Foundation Architect for one of its clients.

For a challenging greenfield cloud project, an organization is looking for an experienced Cloud Foundation Architect who wants to contribute to laying the architectural foundations for a future-proof enterprise cloud environment.
The first concrete use case involves enabling a specific AI platform alongside existing AI platforms.
In the longer term, the foundation will grow into a scalable platform on which new DevOps teams can onboard efficiently and securely.

What you will do.

As a Cloud Foundation Architect, you will help determine the architecture, standards, and design principles of the new cloud environment.
You will combine enterprise architecture, security, governance, and cloud engineering and ensure that the chosen architecture is effectively implementable.
You will work on, among other things:
Cloud Architecture – designing an enterprise-wide cloud foundation and landing zone.
Security & Governance – threat modeling, security controls, encryption, compliance, and governance.
IAM – developing RBAC, Federated Identity, and Least Privilege.
Networking – designing scalable and secure cloud networking.
Operations & Observability – logging, monitoring, SIEM integration, and operational processes.
Cloud Management & FinOps – cost management, showback/chargeback, and lifecycle governance.
Infrastructure as Code – automating cloud components and supporting implementation teams.
Migration & Adoption – migrating existing workloads and onboarding future DevOps teams.

What they ask

Demonstrable experience with a leading cloud platform in enterprise environments.
Experience with Cloud Foundations / Landing Zones.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, IAM, security, networking, and governance.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Good knowledge of a leading cloud platform, Terraform, and Python.
Strong knowledge of English.
