A care organization in the Brussels region offers continuous coordinated home care and support services. The mission is to support all individuals with reduced autonomy who wish to remain at home. The organization caters to everyone, regardless of age, illness, or disability, permanent or temporary, and helps prevent institutionalization or shorten hospital stays. To strengthen its teams, a Home Care Team Leader (family and domestic helpers) is sought for a full-time replacement contract.
What you do
- Conduct home visits to assess needs and identify useful services for the beneficiary's home life.
- Implement and coordinate services.
- Team management to ensure well-coordinated quality services (establishing schedules, managing timetables and leave in compliance with legal provisions, evaluating performance, organizing and conducting team meetings).
- Evaluate the support system put in place for the beneficiary and adapt it if necessary.
- Provide the administrative follow-up required by missions carried out at home.
- Participate in the implementation/revision of work procedures and support your team in implementing changes.
- Collaborate with the partner network and stay informed about sector developments.
- Inform management about on-the-ground realities.
What they ask
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a professional Bachelor's degree with a psycho-medico-social orientation.
- First successful professional experience in a similar role, involving team supervision.
- Experience in the home care and assistance sector is a real asset.
- Ability to quickly acquire legal provisions of the home care and assistance sector that frame services to beneficiaries.
- IT agility (Office Suite, Outlook, planning software).
- Rigor, pragmatism, and a keen sense of organization.
- Patient, empathetic, and pedagogical, able to transmit information to various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Brussels aid services network.
- Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
