Ambulatory blood collection employee

The field team is growing due to the expansion of collection locations.

A new colleague is being sought for blood collection.
The position offers the opportunity to work independently, in your own region, and without evening or weekend shifts.

What you will do.

You start your workday at 8:00 AM at a collection location.
From there, you travel independently to various locations, such as GP practices, nursing homes, and small collection points in the neighborhood.
You drive a different route every day.
You visit patients at home or in a healthcare institution and perform venipunctures and capillary blood collections.
For thrombosis service patients, you directly determine blood values with a finger prick and discuss the results.
With your calm and personal approach, you put patients at ease and are often a familiar face.
During your route, you carefully process patient data in the systems and ensure everything complies with quality and safety guidelines.
You work from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM; sometimes a route may run a little longer.
At the end of your workday, you hand in your materials at a central location.
From October, possibilities for making city cars and electric cargo bikes available will be investigated.

Profile

Preferably a healthcare diploma at MBO level, such as Verzorgende IG, Doktersassistent, or Verpleegkundige.
Also welcome if you are currently following a relevant medical or healthcare education.
Experience with venipuncture is a big plus; if not present, this skill will be taught during your induction period.
Preferably experience in healthcare.
Accustomed to working independently and able to professionally handle diverse patients and home situations.
You work carefully, take responsibility, and communicate clearly with patients and their relatives.
You possess a B driving license and your own car.

You will join a committed and close-knit team of approximately 20 field colleagues.
Although you work largely independently, you can always rely on your colleagues.
Together with over 100 professionals, reliable and fast diagnostics are provided daily for patients.
The atmosphere is accessible, collegial, and personal.
You will work within a collaboration between multiple healthcare institutions.
Due to the growth of this collaboration, new collection locations will be opened in the coming period.
Efforts are being made to further optimize and digitize work processes.
