For a client, a national occupational health service, we are looking for an enthusiastic basic doctor or occupational health physician. This is a role for a doctor who wants to further develop within occupational medicine and enjoys working at the intersection of health, work, and sustainable employability. Even without experience in occupational health services, there is room to learn the profession, with guidance from experienced occupational physicians.
What you will do. As an occupational health physician, you guide employees on issues related to health, work, and employability. You conduct consultations independently and work under the supervision of an experienced occupational physician.
- Conducting medical consultations regarding absenteeism and employability
- Assessing the capacity and possibilities of employees
- Advising on return to work and reintegration
- Identifying opportunities for prevention and sustainable employability
- Collaborating with occupational physicians, case managers, and other professionals
- Maintaining contact with employers and other involved parties
Profile
We are looking for a basic doctor with an interest in occupational medicine. Experience within occupational health services is a plus, but not a requirement.
- You are BIG-registered as a doctor
- You are interested in the combination of medicine, work, and social issues
- You find it interesting to not only look at the medical complaint but also at a person's possibilities within their work
- You are strong in communication and can work independently
- You are open to guidance and further development within occupational medicine
