Dutch Language Teacher

You will work in a driven team within an educational institution that is constantly developing.

• Quality assurance is highly valued, and students follow the educational program through personalized learning.
• Students can choose from Entry-level (level 1) courses and, from academic year 24-25, courses from the Services and Assistant Business Services (level 2) dossier.
• Students learn both at school and in professional practice, working on intensive learning goals with targeted coaching and career guidance.

What you will do.

• You will teach students in level 2 and entry-level courses, including Healthcare Assistant, Assistant Business Services, and Sport & Recreation Employee.
• You will teach diverse classes, including many students who do not have Dutch as their native language or who have been in the Netherlands for a relatively short time.
• Your primary task is teaching Dutch, but you will also serve as a study career counselor.
• You will create a safe and trusting learning environment where students feel seen and motivated.
• You will pay close attention to personalized learning, working goal-oriented rather than task-oriented, giving you a lot of freedom.
• You will contribute to the development and alignment of the educational curriculum.
• As a study career counselor, you will be involved in the personal development of a group of students and conduct coaching conversations.
• You will have secondary tasks that allow you to emphasize certain aspects of your work.
