Sewerage Data Management Specialist Coordinator

A public organization is working on reliable, current, and reusable data for public space management. For the sewerage domain, the organization aims to further professionalize revision processing, data quality, data standardization, and data-driven asset management. The contractor independently determines the professional working method and planning within the established frameworks.

What you do

  • Analyze, standardize, and secure the revision process for sewerage data.
  • Set up and apply controls for completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, validity, and traceability.
  • Prepare and guide mapping, migration, and validation towards GWSW and IMBOR.
  • Coordinate ETL and data exchange processes.
  • Connect data management to management processes, performance information, and asset management.
  • Coordinate with managers, geo and data functions, functional management, and external suppliers.
  • Document progress, risks, decisions, ownership, and escalations.
  • Sustainably transfer knowledge, work instructions, and documentation to the organization.

What they ask

  • Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level in a relevant field (geo-information, geodesy, civil engineering, water management, information management, or similar), or demonstrably at least 5 years of relevant work experience at HBO work and thinking level.
  • In the past 5 years, completed at least one demonstrable assignment in the field of data management, geo-information, or asset management within public space, performing independent executive or coordinating tasks.
  • In the past 5 years, completed at least one demonstrable assignment where sewerage data management, urban water, or functionally comparable underground infrastructure was a substantial part of the activities.
  • In the past 5 years, completed at least one demonstrable project in which GWSW version 1.5 or higher was applied for data modeling, validation, data exchange, conversion, migration, or quality control of sewerage data.
  • In the past 5 years, demonstrable work experience with IMBOR or a functionally comparable object or information standard within public space management.
  • In the past 5 years, completed at least one demonstrable assignment involving the control, improvement, or setup of data quality and/or revision processing.
  • Demonstrable experience with at least two of the following components: source analysis, data mapping, ETL, data conversion, data migration, import and export processes, API connections, or automated data exchange.
  • Demonstrable experience with the setup, implementation, conversion, or functional use of one or more public management systems for public space, such as GBI6, GBI World, GeoVisia, or demonstrably comparable systems.
  • Demonstrable experience with independently performing and coordinating activities where coordination took place between at least two different disciplines or parties (e.g., management organization, data management, ICT, software supplier, or inspection company).
  • At least one reference from a similar assignment not older than 3 years, including a contact person and contact details.

Preferences.

  • In the past 5 years, demonstrable work experience with sewerage data management at a Dutch public management organization.
  • In the past 5 years, demonstrable practical experience with GWSW version 1.5 or higher.
  • Demonstrable experience where source analysis, mapping, trial conversion, validation, and error handling were part of own activities.
  • Demonstrable experience with both sewer inspection data and RibX or a subsequent/equivalent exchange format, and processing towards a public management system.
  • Reference assignments show that the candidate has set up controls for, for example, completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, validity, or traceability and mentions a concrete result.
  • Demonstrable experience with both drafting documentation or work instructions and independently providing multiple training sessions or instructions.
