Pole Installer

In addition to its specialization in public lighting and the installation of underground networks, a specialized company is active in several sectors:

• the electricity sector: installation and maintenance of public and private lighting, medium and low voltage networks, road signaling, electrical connections for individuals, and maintenance of engineering structures and tunnels.
• the gas sector: development of gas cabins, laying of pipes, installation of budget meters, and connections for individuals.
• the telecom sector: connections for individuals, installation of aerial and underground networks, wired infrastructure, copper, and fiber optics.

We are looking for a lighting pole installer.

What you will do.

• Respect safety, quality, and environmental instructions on the construction site, perform a last-minute risk analysis before starting operations.
• Consult utility plans to adopt the best approach.
• Prepare equipment and machines, equip the site with necessary installations (PPE, signage, etc.) and secure the surroundings.
• Load and secure materials on trucks.
• Prepare the ground with a mini-excavator or by hand, carry out earthworks and/or excavations.
• Install and remove different types of poles (medium voltage, high voltage, public lighting, etc.), notably using a truck-mounted crane.
• Perform finishing touches: backfilling, painting, eventual connection of components (depending on permit).
• Ensure basic first-line maintenance of used machines and contact the technical department in case of a problem.

What they ask for.

• You hold a C driving license (CE is a plus) and are medically fit.
• You ideally have experience in driving and operating a truck-mounted crane or are eager to learn (possibility to start as an assistant pole installer/laborer and then progress).
• You are autonomous, rigorous, and organized.
• You have a good knowledge of French.
