An aerospace technology company, specializing in the inspection, maintenance, and repair (MRO) of advanced LEAP jet engines, is looking for a CNC Operator.

  • The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network with over 75 years of experience.
  • You will oversee computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines and be responsible for ensuring the machining of subassembly, quality parts, and tools specific to engineering drawing dimensions.

What you will do.

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Ensure CNC machines operate in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards.
  • Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.
  • Inspect machinery daily to ensure proper functionality.
  • Record all machine activities by completing production and quality logs.
  • Provide accurate timelines and updates to internal departments.
  • Communicate with the Methods Department regarding any issues encountered during machining.
  • Ensure that machining results meet the defined work scope and quality expectations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of CNC machines.

Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machine operator.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a goal-oriented attitude.
  • Strong comprehension and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques in the industry.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00).
  • Good knowledge of French and English.

Practical

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium (EU passport or valid work & residence permit).
