You work as a case manager with individuals facing addiction problems and often also psychological or social issues. The role involves partly outreach work, where you visit clients in their own environment. From there, you build trust and work together towards recovery. The approach focuses not only on addiction but also on broader aspects such as housing, health, relationships, work, and finances. You use the CRA method to help clients take achievable steps towards a life that suits them better.
You do this in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, psychologists, doctors, and psychiatrists.

Even when someone is going through a tough time, you know how to motivate and look for the next step together. You are self-reliant but seek out colleagues when a situation demands it. In acute situations, you can quickly adapt and collaborate. You find it interesting to look not only at the physical aspect but at the client's whole story.
Experience in mental health care or addiction care is not necessarily required; guidance will be provided to get to know the field and the working method.
