A national occupational health service is looking for an enthusiastic basic doctor / occupational health physician. This is a position for a doctor who wants to further develop within occupational medicine and enjoys working at the intersection of health, work, and sustainable employability. Doctors without experience in occupational health are also invited to apply; there is room to learn the profession under the guidance of experienced occupational health physicians.
You will work during regular office hours, without evening, night, or weekend shifts.
What you will do. As an occupational health physician, you guide employees on issues related to health, work, and employability. You conduct consultations independently and work under the supervision of an experienced occupational health physician.
- Conducting medical consultations regarding absenteeism and employability
- Assessing the capacity and possibilities of employees
- Advising on return to work and reintegration
- Identifying opportunities for prevention and sustainable employability
- Collaborating with occupational health physicians, case managers, and other professionals
- Maintaining contact with employers and other involved parties
You will have ample opportunity to develop yourself and take on increasing responsibility.
Profile
We are looking for a basic doctor with an interest in occupational medicine. Experience within occupational health services is a plus, but not a requirement.

- You are interested in the combination of medicine, work, and social issues
- You find it interesting to not only look at the medical complaint but also at a person's possibilities within their work
- You are a strong communicator and can work independently
- You are open to guidance and further development within occupational medicine, including the possibility to further develop towards becoming a registered occupational health physician.
