An international organization active in engineering and infrastructure is looking for an Administrative & Compliance Coordinator for a large-scale project. You will be the administrative backbone of the site, ensuring every worker and every contracting company is properly documented, compliant, and on site on time. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving, international environment with many stakeholders.
What you do
- Check and track worker and company documentation: ID checks, A1 forms, LIMOSA declarations, VCA certifications, work permits
- Chase incomplete or expired documents with contractors and follow them up until they are in order
- Keep audit-ready records and ensure all parties meet Dutch legal requirements
- Organize and follow up site access for workers and contracting companies
- Act as the daily point of contact for contractors and site stakeholders on access questions
- Organize travel and accommodation for project teams
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
- Process and follow up supplier invoices
- Track expense reports and the related documentation
Profile
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an administrative, compliance, or coordination role
- Rigorous and hands-on: you are comfortable checking files one by one and following up until it is done
- Fluent professional English (B2 minimum, required); Dutch is a strong asset
- Used to international, multi-stakeholder environments
- A background in construction or industry is not required. Profiles from public administration, legal, insurance, logistics, or regulated sectors are welcome
Practical
- A long-term assignment on a strategic project
- Freelance / self-employed (ZZP) status preferred; other arrangements can be discussed depending on your profile
