The assignment is carried out within a Functional Management team of a municipal organization. This team is responsible for optimally functioning information provision for multiple municipalities and forms the link between approximately 2,200 users of ICT systems and external suppliers. Business control within this team focuses on gaining and maintaining control over ICT suppliers, financial agreements, project budgets, and a solid financial control mechanism.
There is a temporary need for external support in the field of business control. The assignment requires financial expertise, overview, and a proactive attitude to support the organization in financial management, reporting, budgeting activities, and project control.
What you will do.

- You will act as a process owner or content leader for financial management processes where necessary within the assignment.

- The focus is on providing insight, monitoring financial frameworks, and improving financial processes and registrations.
- You will ensure reliable financial information, support the planning and control cycle, monitor financial project frameworks, and contribute to the further professionalization of financial processes.

What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a business controller within a government organization with more than 1,000 users.
- Demonstrable work experience with an ERP package, Outlook, Excel, and Sharepoint.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience with independently performing financial analyses and translating this into advice.
- Demonstrable work experience with improving financial processes, reports, and control mechanisms.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience with financial project control.
