As a Control Room Operator, you never know what your workday will bring. From a quiet start to bustling activity, you are always ready and handle all notifications adequately. In this role, you ensure a safer working environment for the client and truly make an impact.
What you do
- Remotely activating and deactivating intruder alarms for an average of 16 objects
- Answering intercom calls from various buildings and parking garages
- Following up on alarm notifications such as intruder, fire, or video alarms
- Directing mobile surveillance and flexible services to assess the situation
- Viewing cameras and remotely guiding internal and external emergency services
- Answering incoming calls from, for example, employees, visitors, and also from the police or fire department
Profile
- In possession of an MBO-2 Security Guard diploma
- In possession of a B driving license (manual) and you have your own transport
- You identify with the core values: integrity, vigilance
- You remain calm in unexpected situations and are always in action mode when needed
- You are available 24/7 for evening, night, and weekend shifts
- You have a good command of the Dutch language
- You have a BoCA qualification or are willing to obtain it in the short term
Practical
- Before receiving an employment contract, an assessment will be sent, and a police screening will always be conducted.
- This screening takes 6 to 8 weeks.
- For a positive outcome, it is required that you have not previously been in contact with the police or justice system.
- You must have been registered in a municipality in the Netherlands for the past 8 years.
