A government organization works for two municipalities with their own administrations and ambitions. The organization operates with self-organizing teams and has an open, informal, and positive culture. This role focuses on strengthening the self-reliance and participation of residents.
What you will do. As a Wmo consultant, you help residents who are struggling in their daily lives.
- You map out the situation and the request for help through conversations.
- You investigate possible solutions, first looking at self-reliance and network support.
- You search for suitable provisions such as household support, home adaptations, wheelchairs, or transport facilities.
- You think in possibilities and provide customized solutions.
- You act as a connecting link between residents, care providers, and the municipality.
Profile
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level with a completed (para)medical or social-community education.
- Knowledge of the Wmo (Social Support Act) and keeps up with developments in laws and regulations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Resilient, committed, and dares to think critically.
What they ask
- Self-written personal motivation detailing suitability for the assignment, relevant experience, and motivation.
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrable work experience in the past 7 years as a Wmo consultant within a municipality.
- Minimum of 2 days per week physical presence at the workplace.
- Demonstrable work experience with 'kitchen table conversations', drafting reports, and decisions.
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of MBO 4 level.
- Demonstrable work experience with classic Wmo provisions such as household support, housing/home adaptations, transport facilities, and wheelchair provisions.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in the past 7 years as a Wmo consultant within a municipality.
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrable work experience with classic Wmo provisions such as household support, housing/home adaptations, transport facilities, and wheelchair provisions.
