This role is within a specialized traffic management organization. You contribute to a safe traffic situation during road works and large events. You are the calling card of the organization and its clients.
What you will do.
- Ensure smooth traffic flow
- Address road users in a friendly manner
- Guide traffic during road closures for excavation work
- Coordinate a group of traffic controllers at project locations, for example at events
- As a bus coordinator at a station, be responsible for the timely departure of buses and have direct contact with clients
- Collaborate with a team of colleagues
- Report to the project manager or team coordinator
- Participate in aggression management training
Profile
- Hospitality and safety go hand in hand
- Be presentable and stand firm
- Flexible in working hours (evening, night, and weekend shifts)
- Enjoys working outdoors
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a traffic controller, of which 2 years as a coordinator (demonstrable)
- Leadership skills
- Driving license B and own car
- National appointment pass and VCA-VOL
- Good command of the Dutch language
