Relationship Manager

As a Relationship Manager, you are the face of a social organization towards municipalities, social organizations, educational institutions, employers, and other important collaboration partners. You build sustainable relationships, strengthen existing collaborations, and create new opportunities to expand the social impact. You actively follow developments within the social, political, and policy fields and translate these into concrete opportunities.

Thanks to your network, market insight, and regional knowledge, you timely identify new possibilities for collaboration, contract retention, and contract growth. You thereby make an important contribution to the preparation of future tenders and the further growth of the organization. In addition, you play an important role in expanding the network in municipalities and regions where the presence needs to be strengthened.

You establish new contacts, develop strategic partnerships, and position the organization as a reliable and expert collaboration partner.

What you will do.

• Actively represent the organization within regional networks and collaborations
• Contribute to developments in the field of integration, basic skills
• Strengthen the visibility and position of the organization as a knowledge partner
• Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships
• Identify and connect important stakeholders and decision-makers
• Initiate new collaborations and create support for joint initiatives
• Participate in consultation structures and network meetings
• Monitor contractual agreements at a strategic level (together with the regional manager)
• Identify opportunities for contract retention and expansion
• Maintain relationships around ongoing contracts
• Ensure that contract objectives align with regional developments
• Resolve bottlenecks and make clear agreements with partners
• Strengthen language centers and regional language networks (within WEB contracts)
• Stimulate the influx of participants via partners (within WEB contracts)
• Develop new collaboration opportunities (within WEB contracts)
• Identify trends and policy developments at municipalities
• Position the organization timely and strategically prior to tenders
• Gather market and customer insights
• Translate regional needs into distinctive propositions
• Be the point of contact for new and existing contracts
• Work closely with regional managers and project coordinators
• Ensure clear alignment between internal teams and external partners

What they ask

• HBO or WO (higher professional education or university) working and thinking level
• Completed education, for example in public administration, business administration, communication, social work, or educational sciences
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relationship management, account management, contract management, or a similar role
• Experience with municipalities, public organizations, or social institutions
• Experience with tenders or subsidy processes is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the social domain
• Fluent Dutch speaking is a requirement
