Caregiver
Every day in a residential care center is special, and no two days are the same. As a caregiver, you ensure, together with your colleagues, that all residents receive the care they are entitled to and that they feel at home. You truly feel at home among seniors and provide residents with care as you would for your own parents/grandparents. The gratitude of the residents and the collaboration with the multidisciplinary team give you the energy to give your best every day.
What you will do.
- You assist residents with their personal hygiene and comfort to ensure they feel good.
- You pay attention to the general well-being of the residents by listening to them and giving them the necessary attention. You do everything to provide them with an enjoyable time.
- You register your completed tasks and remarks/points of attention in the electronic care file and share your findings with your colleagues and supervisor.
Profile
- You are flexible. You work in different shifts (morning, evening, and occasionally a night) and in a rotating system of one weekend out of two and holidays.
- You enjoy working with colleagues and appreciate being part of a multidisciplinary team.
- You are enthusiastic and customer-oriented.
What they ask
- You have a caregiver diploma or equivalent education. Final year students in a caregiver program are also eligible.
- You possess a visa to work as a caregiver (as a final year student, you apply for a visa as soon as you graduate).
